Business Developer (North/West Africa)

We are a leading provider of FO/BO Software Solutions for Fuel Retail Stations, based in Spain. To support our expansion strategy in Africa we are looking for candidates for the following position:

Business Developer (North/West Africa)
Fuel Retail SW Solutions

Candidates should fulfil the following requirements

  1. Previous experience
    • Proven experience in sales/business development positions, preferably in the software or technology industry (minimum of 5 years).
    • Specific experience in marketing software solutions for the management and control of fuel stations would be highly appreciated (but it will not be an elimination factor).
    • Experience working in the North and West African markets, with a deep understanding of the region's challenges, regulations, and business dynamics.
       
  2. Sales skills
    • Excellent negotiation and sales closing skills.
    • Ability to develop effective sales strategies to penetrate and expand in the North and West African market.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills. French and at least one of the following, English or Spanish are mandatory. Arabic will be highly valued.
    • Ability to build strong relationships with potential and existing clients, as well as with business partners and distributors in the region.
       
  3. Technical knowledge
    • Deep understanding of software solutions for the management and control of service stations, including technical aspects of front, back, and head office.
    • Ability to clearly articulate the technical benefits of software solutions to potential and existing clients.
       
  4. Leadership and management
    • Experience in sales budget development and management.
    • Ability to make strategic and tactical decisions to drive business growth in the assigned area.
       
  5. Cultural adaptability
    • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment, with a particular focus on the North and West African market.
    • Knowledge of cultural and business norms in North and West African countries, as well as skills to adapt to and respect cultural differences.
       
  6. Education
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, marketing, computer science, or related fields. An advanced degree would be an advantage.
       
  7. Mobility
    • Availability to travel extensively within the assigned area and occasionally to other regions for meetings, conferences, and business events.
    • We are looking for candidates preferably living in Spain, Morocco and Tunisia. Relocation package is not foreseen for this position.
